Question I'm only getting 100mbps out of the 1GB, using the TP Link TL-SG1005P

I have 1 GB internet when I connect it directly to the modem it gives me 1000 mpbs, but when I use the TP Link I only reach 100 mpbs, I use the same cat6e cable and the light is yellow instead of green.

Bad cable (it happens). Try another patch cable.

It's new, and when it's connected directly to the modem it shows 1000 mbps

Fixed, I did nothing and it started working fine.

Could have been dirt on one of the contact wires that cleaned itself off.

I have one cable that does not fit as well as it should and the slightest touch and it will drop to 100mbps. To lazy to fix it since that machine doesn't even need 100mbps.

I would have a spare cable laying around for next time that way you have fast troubleshooting
