Hi

I have just purchased an Asus Tuf Gaming GT301 Case.
It comes with the 4 pre-installed fans.I currently have a Corsair Case Carbide Spec-06 on which the glass panel broke so i had to order a new case and I chose the Asus.

I currently have 3x120mm Corsar LL fans,280mm Radiator by corsair.I have had this case and setup for about 6 years now and no issues performance wise with 2 cpu upgrades and 2 gpu gpu upgrades .I was just wondering if i should transfer everything"including the fans" or are the Asus fans in the case no good compared to the Corsair in terms of cooling and noise level?I dont have any custom fan curves at the moment and im happy with the setup. If changing the fans would change anything should i just keep the Corsair?

Any Info would be so helpful

Thank You!

Specs; Ryzen 5 9600X
Gpu: Rtx 5070(Vertically Mounted)
16Gb Ram

It's unlikely it would change anything in any way. Just set appropriate speed curves. and enjoy.

Fan noise is mainly determined by the RPM the fan is running at.
You should be able to control that.
What I would worry about is the age of your AIO cooler. 6 years should be approaching failure.
Either by the mechanical pump or by air intrusion.

Your case is a nice one, well suited to an air cooler.
A good twin tower air cooler would have about the same cooling capability as your current aio

Yes that makes alot of sense,as you say the age of the cooler is very old and i just replaced it with the DeepCool Ak620 digital as i was thinking the same thing. It was time for a change. The new case i got hasnt got the Gpu mounting capabilites so i have to mount it horizonally.

The cooler i mounted sideways because it didnt fit vertically with the ram clearnace as the fan on the outside didnt fit so i 2 have intake from the front of the case 2 exhaust up top and rear and the cooler i have set them to exhaust.Temperatures are around 40-45 Cpu can i keep the installation i have?

You want the heated cpu air to flow through the cooler and out the back asap.
Can you slide the front fan up enough to clear the ram?
Can you mount the problem fan on the other side of the cooler, pulling air out?
Or, I bet that cooler would would work just fine with only one fan.
On my NH-D15s, adding a front fan is supposed to make only a 2 degrees c. difference. I didn't bother.

Perhaps a photo would help.

Your 100% correct because I switched to vertical with the right cpu fan on intake and the second as exhaust It was a tight fit and it actually turned out great the temperatures are much better.

A question do cpu air coolers wear out? Not the fans but the block itself? So the Deepcool Ak620 digital?

Air coolers do not wear out, excepting the fans which are usually easy to replace.
The fluid inside is sealed. In theory, the fluid inside an aio is sealed, but because the tubes are not as impermeable as metal, in time air will still intrude.
