Just got my new PC and spent a good couple of hours assembling it.

Specs:
Case: Be Quiet Light Base 600 LX Gaming Midi Tower
MB: Gigabyte X870 Gaming WIFI6
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D
CPU Cooler: Be Quiet Light Loop 360mm
GPU: Gigabyte GeForce RTX 5070 Ti 16GB GDDR7 Gaming OC
RAM: G.Skill Trident Z5 RGB 64GB DDR5
PSU: Corsair RM850x Shift 850W
Storage: Samsung 990 PRO SSD 2TB M.2 NVMe PCI Express 4.0

So at the start I had forgotten to connect the CPU power cables so it wouldn't turn on at all, when that got fixed it turned on, everything (including the AIO) light up but was not getting any image (monitor was detecting active port but no signal).

After that I noticed the DRAM red light being stable on. Checked RAM but no change. Then noticed that on power-on the CPU red light would flash once into DRAM stable red light.

At that point my nightmare begins: 1st the CPU was not secured in place correctly and 2nd there was overflowing thermal paste around the CPU (not on the board). On top of that the AIO is powering on but not the RGB.

I have tried almost every RAM combination (due to the AIO I can't access slot A1)
Cleared the excess paste and secured the CPU in place properly
Cleared CMOS with the jumper.

What else is there to do and how f'ed is my CPU?
Thanks in advance!

Start by simplifying your config. Your CPU has built-in graphics. Remove your graphics card. Remove all but one DIMM. Hook your monitor to the motherboard graphics port.

Try ALL RAM slots with first DIMM. Then swap DIMMs and try all slots.
Still can't access slot A1, tried the other 3 with both sticks. Same result. Only difference is when I plug either stick into slot B1 I get a DRAM red light even when not powered on and it stays on till I plug the stick into another slot.

Have you tried installing the gpu in your old pc? If you have a friend with am5 motherboard you could test every compenent.
According to the manual, if you use a single stick of ram it has to be installed in the a2 socket otherwise if you use 2 they have to be installed in a2 and b2.

My old PSU can't handle the new GPU 🙁, as for the RAM, I was using slots A2 and B2 with the two stick setup. Sadly don't have anyone with an AM5 motherboard close by and available, might have to go to a repair shop and have diagnose the setup.

I had this problem recently as well, it turned out to be the CPU's memory controller not allowing certain ram slots (the last two) from working. Please try all ram slots, if the first two work and the last two don't it could be the latter. You could have damaged it however those pins are pretty resilient. Do you have another compatible CPU to test this with? If integrated graphics are also not working it could be a bad chip I'd assume.

At the moment I'm waiting for Monday when the PC stores in my area are open so I can have someone check all components individually since I can't do so myself. I'll post again when that happens, thanks everyone for the help so far!
