So with my PC, I have a wireless headset/USB dongle that I use for audio. Sounds good, keeps me happy. The problem is that I've started connecting my video game consoles to my computer primary display so as to make it easier to play when the main TV is already in use. The PC is connected to the display via DisplayPort, while the consoles are connected to the display via HDMI, and I use the input switch on the bottom to toggle back and forth between which video input I want to see at a given time. Unfortunately, the audio is another matter entirely.

While this display does have a 3.5 jack on the side I could use to hear audio when using the consoles/HDMI connection, this would involve buying another headset and adding even more clutter to an already cramped workspace. I'm wondering, with both the PC (with the wireless headset) and the consoles connected to that same display receiving the audio from the consoles, is there some semi-elegant way to make use of the existing headset to pick up that audio signal coming over the HDMI connection, or is there really no way around this short of getting a second headset for that 3.5 jack?
