i researched about the best logitech mx master 3s mouse for mac over the past few days because i need one to boost my productivity. i read reviews on the verge, macrumors, and 9to5mac, and they’re all recommending these two models as the top picks:

logitech mx master 3s (graphite)

logitech mx master 3s for mac (pale grey)

however, i’m having trouble deciding which one would best suit my needs and would love your expert advice. In my workflow, i use final cut pro, photoshop, safari with multiple tabs, and a second monitor. i value features like customizable buttons, silent clicks, precision tracking, and ergonomic comfort for long workdays. so which one should i buy? any recommendation would be appreciated. thanks in advance

Thanks, Both are fine for my mac book?
They're both the same mouse, just in different colors. Logitech also state that the mouse is compatible with both OSes;

I've been using the Logitech G305 for several years now. I've been pretty happy with it. I don't use the side buttons though. I used to use those MX Master mice but got sick of needing special drivers in macOS for them. I hope that's not a thing still, haven't tried them in eons. Btw for mouse button customization does Better Touch Tool still work? It was a good solution in the past I think.

Note that for some of these Logitech mice especially the ones with bare plastic shells you'll really benefit from adding some rubber grip tape to it

Also, if you're on Mac and considering $100 mouse to increase productivity, you might also want to consider the Magic Trackpad too. You can use it simultaneously with a regular mouse to enable touch gestures with your non -dominant hand. That's how I do it; Magic Trackpad left hand, mech keyboard middle, Logitech G305 right hand. Works well. Use Scroll Reverser app so you can natural scroll with Trackpad or normal scroll with mouse at the same time.

I've been using a Master 3S for years.

The physical mice are the same.

The Mac specific one has Mac specific functions in the software.
And of course, matching colors...😉
